Something Natural Sparkling Water Expands Into Northeast’s Premier Retail Locations – Stop and Shop, Giant and Hannaford to carry Something Natural starting Fall 2014
BOSTON, MA (September XX, 2013) – Just announced, four of the largest grocery retailers in the Northeast will be stocking a fresh new addition to their shelves this fall. Something Natural LLC line of all-natural sparkling waters will be available at Stop and Shop, Giant and Hannaford. “We are very excited about the opportunity to have our waters available at these great retailers!” said Randy Shefshick, Founder. “We spent the first year building brand awareness in the independent channels and with strategic customers. Step two of our strategy has been to increase availability in more conventional channels where our fans live and shop every day.”
In order to service new and existing customers, this past summer Something Natural added top tier distributers to its existing network, including Polar Beverages (Ma &CT), National Distributors (ME), Wright Wisner (NY) and Baker Distributing (VT). “In many respects Sparkling Water, specifically flavored water, is one of the hottest categories in the beverage business as consumers migrate over from CSD’s. We have seen very strong demand from retailers, distributors and most importantly consumers looking for all-natural/flavored sparkling alternatives to some of the artificially sweetened products in the market . Our announcement today further validates this trend.,” said Shefshick.

Something Natural is being featured in Brand Packaging’s 2011 Design Gallery. They choose a very select group of brands for this special issue (59 this year) and it’s quite an honor to be included. Some more info:
BRANDPACKAGING reviews 2011’s most innovative packaging from around the world. Packages for the Design Gallery were judged on structural or graphic innovation, how they appeal to consumer/shopper needs, how they enhance the in-use experience, and how they elevate the role of packaging in marketing. Not just a study in good design, it’s a look at how packaging can demonstrate innovation, make strong shelf impact, meet customer, shopper and retailer needs and, of course, how it conveys the brand story. Design Gallery reflects a global perspective of innovative packaging turned out in 2011.
